We have just received word that Sara Goen, who ran Sara’s antique store on Whiteway in East Point up until about a decade ago, has died. Family visitation will be Monday, January 25, 2010 from 6-8:00pm. She will be memorialized at East Point Christian Church at 2:00pm Tuesday, followed by interment at Hillcrest Cemetery. Carmichael-Hemperly Funeral Home is taking care of the arrangements.
